When I became a librarian back in 2015, we were asked to create programming based on our personal interests so that we would feel more connected and inspired. I decided to start offering a monthly "adult" craft class, each month being something different.

I had never really "taught" before, and wasn't sure what I was doing but I quickly fell in love with it! I continued teaching library craft classes for six years including both in-person and virtual during the pandemic. Most of my craft classes focused on reusing/repurposing random materials to create something new (which I love!).

In my new/current role at the library, I no longer get to teach craft classes but, have started teaching again at Revive Cafe in Middleburg Hts. I hope to continue teaching these fun classes and am open to helping you host a craft event with your family, friends, coworkers, etc. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!
