"Dictionary Art" has quickly become my favorite art to produce! I love the creativity this medium allows and the absolute endless possibilities. Pages are taken from underused dictionaries or old books. I choose a word off of the specific page and then create a hand drawn black and white image directly on the page using archival pens that will not fade or bleed over time. I also repurpose old picture frames with new paint and distress some as well. You will notice some pages have a brown coloration on the page. This is a tea and/or coffee staining technique used to antique the page if I feel that it should have that appearance. Take a look and enjoy!
